- Open app.velvetrule.com ↗ in Safari.
- Tap Share (the square with an upward arrow), then Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the menu.
- If shown, leave Open as Web App on. Tap Add, then open Velvet Rule from its new icon.
- Open app.velvetrule.com ↗ in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to home screen. Choose Install if offered.
- Follow the confirmation on your phone, then open Velvet Rule from its new icon. Some devices offer a shortcut instead.

Find each other.
Create your own account with your email address and follow any email confirmation instructions. Your partner needs their own account too.
Follow the partner connection steps in the app. Settings is where you return to your account, preferences and partner connection.

A wish starts a conversation. It becomes an agreement when the proposal is confirmed. There is always room to ask for changes or say no.
Where do our plans and ideas live?
Our plans brings together wishes, proposals, agreed activities, routines and follow-up. Library holds ideas, reusable rewards and consequences, and shared equipment. Rewards and consequences are optional.
What should we look at in Settings?
Review your account, preferences and partner connection. Choose a dynamic that suits you; it never replaces agreeing on a proposal together. Read the app’s privacy information before sharing personal details.
Do I have to add it to my home screen?
No — you can use the web app in your browser. Adding an icon makes it easier to return. Removing that icon does not delete your account or data.
I cannot find the home screen option.
Open the app address directly in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, rather than inside an email or social app. Check the full Share or browser menu. You can keep using the browser if installation is not offered.
